We've been trading long enough now to know the sort of questions our customers have when debating whether to just buy a new appliance or give Appliance Tech a call. Below you'll find the answers to most of your questions, on the odd occasion we've missed something then just give us a call and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
This is always our aim and in many cases we are able to effect a repair on the first visit, however sometimes it is necessary to order a part for your appliance and where this is the case you will be given an estimate of how long the part will take to arrive, most parts are normally sourced in a few days but this is dependent upon availability. Where parts are required to be ordered we will ask for a deposit.
Our Labour rates are Fixed Cost Labour rates so no matter how long we take to repair your appliance you will pay the same fixed rate, this pricing structure keeps you in control of costs as you know exactly how much the engineer will charge for his labour, try getting that deal the next time your car requires service! This of course is also dependent on the exact fault, some repairs do not require any parts at all, in that instance all you would pay is our Labour rate, the price of an average repair is around £60.00 but the engineer will provide you with an exact cost where possible ,the price which would include Labour and Parts.
We always try and help people where possible as we have found that by providing sound clear advice to our customers they return to us.
Currently this is not a service that we offer, in our experience customers often wish to buy parts for their appliances which turn out not to fix their appliance and then ask the retailer for a refund or replacement if the part does not fix their appliance or that it becomes damaged in fitting it.
We always try and help people where possible as we have found that by providing sound clear advice to our customers they return to us.
You are under no obligation to accept our repair quote and proceed with the repairs. Our engineer will give you an honest appraisal and opinion of the viability of the repair and overall condition of the appliance, to make this process fair for both the customer and ourselves we make a reduced diagnostic charge to cover our time and expenses in dealing with your problem.
Unfortunately we do not, in this day and age of fuel and staff costs there is no way a company can operate for free just as you would not expect to go to work and not get paid. There are some repairers who do operate free call outs & free estimates but this will not guarantee that you will get a proper diagnosis of what is actually wrong with your machine as if something is free the repairer will be anxious to move on to a paying job as they also need to cover running costs.
We are able to take Cash, Visa, Mastercard, However we do not accept cheques any longer.
